Ford made a mistake and now they’re paying for it. During their quality screening, they did an error by installing some faulty fuel pumps. Problems reported are that cars are not starting up or suddenly stalling. They managed to find the cause and are taking action by recalling them to correct the fault. This means they need to unexpectedly spend money, but this is the price they have to pay for committing an error.
